The Curriculum Lab Supervisor offers regular and timely instruction, assistance and training in locating and using the resources and equipment housed in the Curriculum Lab through class tours of the lab as well as offering individual assistance to any student and faculty in person or via telephone on an as-needed basis.
The Curriculum Lab provides various materials and services to the student body. Our subject areas are as follows: English & Language Arts, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Studies, and Health. We have secondary textbooks in ELA, math, social studies, and Spanish. We also offer thematic science, language arts, and math kits. In addition, we have in stock over 200 different manipulatives. We also supply a number of big books and educational games across a variety of subject areas. Also available on the shelves are children’s literature, adolescent literature, and young adult literature as well as the current South Carolina state standards for all grade levels and model lesson plans from every subject area.
All of our materials are available for students to check out. While the Curriculum Lab is of special interest to education majors, it is open to all students, faculty, and staff.
The Curriculum Lab Supervisor is available to assist any student with lesson planning, finding the right materials, ensuring that lessons are meeting state standards, etc.
